Situated in the scenic mountains west of Datil, NM, we think the Lazy V7 is an ideal place to experience God through His beautiful creation coupled with the simplistic rural life style we want to provide for our children and grandchildren. Situated between the 9,500 foot Crosby Mountains and 10,200 foot Alegres, our land is an ideal habitat for elk, deer, and occasional bears and moutain lions. Our headquarters, which includes a two-story log house built from logs taken from the foot of Crosby in the late 1940's, and several newer buildings sits in a beautiful valley at 7,500 feet elevation.
When we aren't working cattle or doing chores, we enjoy horseback riding, motorcycling and hiking in the mountains. Sitting around the grill with good friends enjoying some delicious steaks and fresh vegetables we grew is another favorite passtime.
